With windows facing into our courtyard, our Victoria Lounge is a haven in the hotel. Occupying one of the building’s original ancient rooms, dating back to 1220.
Today it’s where we serve The Red Lion Hotel’s signature afternoon tea as well as ‘all day dining’ from our gastro menu.
What a treat this is – an ancient oak-beamed lounge with low slung cosy club chairs, beautiful button-backed velvet sofas and an open fire, adding to the majesty of the occasion.
