Come and discover the best Sunday roast in Salisbury! Our 800 year old hotel is steeped in tradition, so it’s fitting that we serve one of Britain’s most loved traditions – the Sunday roast.

Choose from a selection of succulent meats, cooked to perfection. Freshly carved and served with crispy, golden brown roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, a selection of fresh vegetables and our delicious homemade gravy.

We always use the finest ingredients and we source all of our food locally where possible, so our Sunday lunch menu does occasionally change. And you may find some specials on offer too.

Booking your Sunday lunch isn’t essential, but we recommend making a reservation in advance so that we can guarantee availability.

We also serve vegetarian and vegan roast dinner, although we require 24 hours’ notice to guarantee availability.

We offer a smaller portion of our Sunday lunch for children under 10.

Or if they prefer, they can order from our usual children’s restaurant menu, which includes all the classics like chips, fish fingers and pasta.

The Best Location

Our stunning 13th century hotel is one of the best restaurants for a roast dinner in Salisbury as we’re located right in the heart of the city centre.

Ideal if you’re looking to continue onto another venue in Salisbury after your roast dinner. Plus, our location also means there are great public transport links for anyone arriving by train or bus.

Our car park is very limited, but we’re lucky to have Brown Street public car park right next door to our hotel.

However, the most popular place to enjoy a Sunday roast in our hotel is the stunning Vine Restaurant.

With its ancient oak beams and high ceilings, The Vine is full of character and charm, and offers ambience in abundance.
