What’s going on in Salisbury this April?

Salisbury Artisan Market

Sunday April 7th – 10am – 4pm


Salisbury’s monthly artisan market returns for its second outing of 2019 on Sunday 7th April, offering visitors everything from fresh food and handmade crafts, to homewares, jewellery and accessories from a variety of independent local traders. There’ll be hot and cold street food to snack on, plus live music throughout the day to keep you entertained and attendance is free.


Salisbury Vintage Market

Friday 26th April – 10am – 4pm


If vintage finds from years gone by are more your cup of tea you’ll want to keep Friday 26th April clear in your diary, to make sure you’re in Salisbury between 10am-4pm to experience the Salisbury Vintage Market. Alongside stalls selling antique wares from bygone eras, there’ll be retro-themed food and drink to enjoy as well as some classic vintage music to add to the spirit of the occasion. Admission is free and the market will be located in Guildhall Square on the day.


Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunt

19th – 22nd April – 11am-4.30pm

Across all four days of Bank Holiday Easter weekend, Mompesson House in Salisbury will be hosting the annual Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunt on its grounds. Participation costs just £2 per child, with the trail set to take place in the gardens of this impressive 18th Century manor house. Children taking part will need to follow the clues left behind by the Easter bunny and complete the entire trail to claim their Cadbury’s chocolate reward.


Easter Sunday Lunch at The Red Lion Hotel

21st April

At the Red Lion Hotel we’re bringing in a specially devised 3-course Easter Sunday menu, for one day only, to welcome Easter in with all the magic of spring. At just £24.95 per person (£12.95 for under 12s), Easter day diners can choose from a mouth-watering menu of seasonal specialities including honey & rosemary roasted lamb, lemon drizzle cake and wild rice salad. Fish and vegetarian options are also available.
